Poulter Won In Wgc

Ian Poulter showes well in WGC. He is English professional golfer who is a member of the world’s top two professional golf tours, the U.S.-based PGA Tour and the European Tour. For golfers, there are discount golf clubs.

An extraordinary week for a country which a decade ago had only current world number four Lee Westwood in the top 100 ended with Poulter achieving a maiden US Tour victory at the WGC-Accenture Match Play in Arizona on Sunday. Casey, who broke his duck on the circuit at last season’s Houston Open, was beaten 4&2 in the 36-hole final a year after going down 4&3 to Australian Geoff Ogilvy.

“It feels really, really nice,” said Poulter. “It’s been a long time coming and I am very happy.”

He continued: “It was a good day’s golf. I knew I was in great form and I felt calm all day – nerves didn’t play any factor at all.

“I know Paul’s disappointed being runner-up two years in a row.”

Casey added: “Ian played excellent golf. There were a lot of shots I wanted to pull off and didn’t, but he did a fantastic job. callaway x-22 irons is my favorite golf club.

“I don’t feel physically tired, I feel mentally tired, but I am not making excuses.

“There are a lot of positives to come out of this week for me.”

a joke:Rough time

“I’ve just had the most awful time,” said a boy to
his friends. “First I got angina pectoris, then
arteriosclerosis. Just as I was recovering, I got
psoriasis. They gave me hypodermics, and to top
it all, tonsillitis was followed by appendectomy.”

“Wow! How did you pull through?” sympathized his friends.

“I don’t know,” the boy replied.
“Toughest spelling test I ever had.”

Stress and Cholesterol Levels | Dose Stress Increase Cholesterol Levels

Can Stress Lead To Development Of Heart Attack Or Heart Disease?

People with heart disease do complain of chest pains during emotional peaks. And it is not uncommon for heart attacks to occur during emotionally difficult times. Many people with underlying atherosclerosis exhibit stress-related heart symptoms. The topic whether stress can cause the development of heart disease is not very clear, because stress and peoples reaction to it are hard to study and measure. Some doctors believe that stress plays a major role in the development of heart disease and heart attacks. One recent study has traced that men who considered themselves highly anxious were three to four times more likely to have a sudden fatal heart attack than men who rated themselves low in anxiety.

Does Stress Raise Cholesterol Levels?

Some doctors claim that stress does not raise cholesterol levels. But a recent study found just the opposite true. It was found that within twenty minutes of starting a frustrating mental task, people had an increase of upto 5mg/dL in total cholesterol with a slightly low rise in LDL, triglyceride and HDL cholesterol.

Stress can affect the heart in other ways also. During stress bio-chemicals is released by the body which trigger processes that can harm the artery walls. They can also make blood thicker and more prone to clotting. Stress speeds up heartbeat, raises blood sugar levels and blood pressure, contributes to heartbeat irregularities and causes constriction of blood vessels. The arteries are narrowed when there are coronary spasms and thereby there is a reduction in the flow of blood to the heart. Anger a form of mental stress has been reported to trigger angina, heart attack and even sudden death.

Foods Increase and Raise Cholesterol Levels In Humans

Beef, variety meats, brain, cooked, simmered

Lamb, variety meats, brain, raw

Chicken, liver, all classes, cooked, simmered

Sponge cake

Other Causes Which Lead To Increase Cholesterol

High cholesterol levels are due to a variety of reasons which includes genetics, diet of person, and lifestyle of person. Less commonly thyroid or kidney related diseases which may affect blood cholesterol levels.

Heredity – Genes of people are also responsible to influence how the body metabolizes LDL (bad Cholesterol)

Weight – obesity is one of the primary causes of high cholesterol levels in body.

Age and sex- Females generally have lower cholesterol levels (total) than men of the same age.

Alcohol Intake – Moderate alcohol intake (1-2 drinks daily) increases good cholesterol but does not lower LDL (bad) cholesterol.

Mental stress – Mental stress is also responsible for increased levels of Cholesterol in body.

What Should Be Done If One Is Under Stress Or Tends To Overreact To Things?

People under stress and tending to overreact to situations should start taking good care of themselves. Avoid eating fatty foods, quit smoking and moderate their alcohol consumption. Reduce stress by exercising regularly. It uses bio-chemicals that are produced during a stressful episode. Some good ways to diffuse stress are through: social activities, learned relaxation techniques, meditation, yoga, talking it out with a friend or therapist, spiritual pursuits or just having fun.

heart pain question?

i have been having chest pains a lot lately, just sudden pain about in left chest area. Sometimes really hard, then it fades, this has been going on for about 6 months. I finally went to doctor was told my ekg was abnormal and i need to see a cardiologist and get a stress test. I am 43 years old. heart disease runs in family. I was given nitro tablets in case it happens again. Should i be worried? Do you think its angina?
is angina life threating?

You have a strong family history of heart disease, and abnormal EKG and chronic chest pain. I think it’s a safe bet that you need to follow-up with that cardiology consult sooner than later. You’ll need a stress test done, and perhaps an angiogram of your coronary arteries. If you’re a man, as soon as you hit your fourties you enter prime heart disease territory. Your risks are higher if you’re diabetic, obese, have elevated cholesterol and/or smoke. YOu already have the postive family history part down.
Yes, it sounds like angina, but then again, it could be something else.
Go to that cardiologist very, very soon.

I Think I Have Angina

Can sunflower seeds spark an angina attack?

Actually, I know that they do. I am mostly curious as to why?

Some people may disagree, but whenever I eat sunflower seeds I have chest pains the next day, which the doctor describes as “angina.” I’m only 31, so this does seem strange.

You’d think I would have stopped eating sunflower seeds… Just can’t seem to do it.

It depends on how much you have at one time.

A co-worker told me he ate about 1 lb of them while lifting weights twice a week, and was getting chest pain. I said cut down the sunflower seeds, since 1 lb has a lot of oil. He did, and the chest pains went away.

I can get chest pains from almost any fatty food, because I have severe, advanced heart disease.

Try pistachios, they have a lot less oil.
