What could be causing my chest pain?
I'm 18 and have had chest pains, not so much the medium, but leftmost for almost a week. I had a pain like this before, and my mother told me it was hormones and would would. I read about the symptoms I have (shortness of breath and chest pains that come and go) and I thought I was a bit anemic. Then the pain in the chest at some point will not (per day). I'm starting to really freak who can be angina or a heart attack, but I do not do anything that might cause a heart attack. Did not the usual symptoms of a heart attack (thank God). Side note: drinking coffee every morning and I skipped two days last week and has been since. I tried to go back to my normal schedule, but the pain / pressure has not really stopped. Also, only add the sugar 1 teaspoon and a half before I'm also getting my period, but I doubt it PMS. Just thought I would add this case.
There may be various causes of chest pain. Some things to consider perhaps anxiety, costochondritis (RIB, chest pain) reflux and / or mitral valve prolapse. I recommend cutting caffeinated drinks – You can still type decaffeinated coffee – and make an appointment to be examined by a doctor (or nurse). If there sweating, dizziness, vomiting, fainting, swelling in the legs (a sign of a blood clot) or difficulty breathing (signs blood clots in lungs) – see a doctor immediately, which means they may require treatment in emergency rooms. Probably that chest pain is not serious, but peace of mind that comes with is extracted is invaluable. I wish him good luck and hope this will soon solved! Be careful!
