angina dangerous

Angina is there a better way than bypass operations. Is any UK hospital trying other methods.?

A second bypass operation is more dangerous but what other methods are being tried. Is there a UK research centre one could communicate with and even offer ideas?

I am aware of stents, by-pass, angiplast etc. Is there no other treatment?or research? I have ideas of my own. It is not easy to get a review or even an opinion. Why do we not have a report on chelation in the UK? The Ameicans are using it. We should encourage public participation.

All doctors will prefer to do an angioplasty or a stent rather than bypass. Unfortunately not everyone’s arteries are suitable.

There are some experiments being carried out using growth factor or gene therapy to encourage the heart to grow its own new arteries.

As these treatments are experimental they are only given to people who have not benefited from conventional treatment.
