I’m TTC and have very long menstrual cycles (45 days with late ovulation occurring around day 32). I’ve heard that Vitex works wonders and recently started taking 400mg once daily. I am small and very sensitive to drugs, so wanted to start with as low a dose as possible. I seem to be having mild headaches and increasing chest pain (left sided) while taking this drug. I’ve only been on it for about 6 days now. Are these signs of an allergic reaction or overdose? Thank you for any insight.
By the way, I forgot to mention that I have already stopped taking this supplement, but was wondering if this is a common side effect. I can’t find it listed anywhere on the web, and my health care provider doesn’t seem to know anything about it.
