angina stress

does angina get worse when you breath?

how do i know if it is stress or a bad heart?

Angina may get worse with breathing. This is especially true to heavy breathing and coughing. It depends on whether the angina is stable or unstable. Stable angina means that it is more or less under control – you know what can cause it, etc. Unstable angina can come and go without necessarily knowing what caused it. If you think that it is angina, talk to your doctor/cardiologist about it and explain what you know about how it affects you. If you haven’t been diagnosed with any form of heart disease, this may be a sign to get a thorough exam and probably a stress test. It may be stress, especially if it feels like a tightness rather than pain.
